Andrew J. Wyss | WFE Co-Owner and President


A lifetime farmer, Andy is the president of Wyss Farms Enterprises, a 2000-acre grain farm located in Northeast Indiana. In this leadership role, he oversees all general operations of the business, with a focus on and expertise in production inputs and practices. Importantly, Andy also manages WFE’s landlord and service provider relationships as well as the agricultural program correspondence with the USDA.  Andy works closely with his son, Don, and wife, Pat, in the daily management of Wyss Farms Enterprises. In addition, Andy is the founding Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 13142 at St. Aloysius Parish where he is a lifelong member.  He also holds the position of Agriiculture Representative for the Purdue University Extension Service of Allen County.  Click here to contact Andy.

Patricia Wyss | WFE Co-Owner and Office Manager


Andy's wife of 43 years, Pat is the Office Manager for Wyss Farms Enterprises. Pat is responsible for documenting all financial records and handling the banking and annual tax preparations for the business as well as the business’s payroll. In addition, Pat assumes responsibility for updating the WFE website.  Pat has a Masters degree in Elementary Education.  She retired from full time teaching after 33 years and is now substituting for the Fort Wayne/South Bend Diocese.  She was honored as Teacher of the Year in 1997. Pat serves as a Lector and Eucharist Minister for her church and was a Team Leader for the spiritual renewal program "Arise." She also takes on the role of Team Captain for her family and friends in connection with the local Walk MS event held each year in Fort Wayne, IN.

Donald A. Wyss II  -  WFE Partner and Chief Marketing Officer

 

Don graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics.  Don’s duties include grain marketing for WFE and assisting in making operational decisions. He also manages the seed dealerships with AgriGold Hybrids and Powell Seeds.  Don also maintains detailed electronic records of the business operations, including planting intentions, harvesting records, and field profitability studies.  In addition to these responsibilities, Don, 44, is the manager of the grain merchandisers at Bunge North America in Decatur, Indiana. He and his wife, Cori, were named the 2009 American Soybean Association (ASA)/DuPont Young Leaders for the State of Indiana.  Don was elected as a director for the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) Board and serves as a representative for the US Soybean Export Council.  For the past 14 years, Don has served as Chairman for the St. Aloysius Knights of Columbus Annual Golf Outing, their largest fundraiser of the year.  Don and Cori, live on the farm in Fort Wayne, IN with their son, Andrew J. Wyss III and daughter, Addison.

Amy

Amy Persohn | WFE Advisor and Financial Consultant


Amy assists in creating and analyzing WFE’s financial data. Her efforts continue to improve WFE’s internal reporting, cost management, and budgeting.  Amy, 42, is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Accounting and worked as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley for seven years. She then assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer of the Global Securities and Alternative Investments Division of RREEF, a real estate investment management company in Chicago. Presently, Amy is a full time mother for her 3 boys and continues her consulting and reporting work for Wyss Farms Enterprises. She and her husband, Matt, and three sons live in Glenview, IL.

Molly Alberts | WFE Advertising and Promotional Marketing


Molly provides advertising and promotional marketing services for WFE. Such services continue to increase the awareness of WFE’s products, services and advancements in agribusiness. Molly also provides input on office technology needed to support the growth and management of WFE. Molly, 41, graduated from Indiana University in the year 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Molly, RN, currently works as a Health and Wellness Clinic supervisor for St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.  She and her husband, Danny, have a son, Cody, and a daughter, Hailey and live in Noblesville, IN.

Joseph A. Wyss | WFE Consultant, Strategic Planner

 

Joe provides strategic consulting to advise WFE on developing sales and growth strategies and determining future investments.  In 2003, Joe brought the idea of writing a formal business plan to the family, and as a team, WFE was able to make the effort a great success winning the Inaugural Dorothy Dolphin Notre Dame Family Business Plan Competition. Joe currently is an associate with the law firm Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago and focuses on corporate law. He attended the University of Notre Dame for both undergraduate (2004; majoring in Finance) and Law School (2013).  Prior to law school, Joe worked for six years as a financial consultant with Huron Consulting Group in Chicago.  He and his wife, Nancy, have two sons, Michael and Thomas, and live in Chicago, IL.

Corinna Wyss - WFE Accountant

 

Cori is a member of the accounting team for Wyss Farms Enterprises and assists in maintaining financial statements and production data.  Cori graduated from St. Francis University with a degree in Accounting and then earned her Masters Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.  Cori is a Senior Accountant for Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN and was recently accepted into the "Leadership Initiative Program" for 2012.  Cori was named as a member of the State Board for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2011.  She and her husband, Don, are active members of the planning committee for Walk MS, a major fundraiser held in Fort Wayne, IN each May.
